About the designer

Hi, I'm Temima.

I started White Willow because the last layer is the one you feel. The right sofa, the drapes that soften the light, a lamp in the corner, art that means something. That's what turns a house into a home that feels like you the moment you walk in.

Like the willow, I believe in bending to fit each family. Whether it's one tired room, a custom closet or a whole new home, I listen first, then furnish and style a space that's calm, warm and works for how you really live.

Furnishing, styling, finishing and custom closets, from a single room to a whole home.

Virtual Room Design

Done remotely, from wherever you are. You send photos and measurements; I send back a layout, a mood board and a clickable shopping list. You order the pieces and set the room up yourself, at your own pace.

In person, done for you. I come to your home and place and style everything: art, decor, textiles, lighting and accessories, so the room looks finished the day I leave. That hands-on time is why it costs a little more than Virtual Room Design.

Good questions

Where do you work?

I'm based in Monsey, NY and work in person with clients across New York and New Jersey. Through Virtual Room Design I work with clients nationwide, wherever you are.

What does a project cost?

Consultations start at $75, virtual room design (done remotely) at $199 per room, and in-person finishing and styling at $349 per room (see Pricing above). You'll always get a clear quote before any work begins, and your furnishing budget is always set by you. There's no markup on furnishings.

Do I have to buy everything new?

Not at all. I love working with pieces you already own and treasure, and mixing in vintage and budget-friendly finds.

Do you do renovations or new builds?

My focus is finishing homes: furnishing, styling, window treatments, lighting and decor. Full design from the ground up is available by request, so just ask.

How long does a project take?

A room refresh can take a few weeks. Furnishing a whole home usually takes a few months, mostly depending on furniture and drapery lead times.

How does Virtual Room Design work?

You share photos, measurements and inspiration. I send back a mood board, layout and a shoppable list with links, plus a call to walk you through it.
